GUTS meets every Saturday at 8 a.m. at the United Baptist Church of Annandale. Our two-hour meetings are designed to allow club members the opportunity to learn and practice public speaking while gaining valuable leadership skills and immediate, constructive feedback. In each meeting, members perform several roles that move along the action.  Our club also has a few of our own trademark traditions such as our morning coffee and bagels, and our unique “Drammarian” who comments on the dramatic touches displayed during the meeting. 

 

When you visit us, you are welcome to participate in the meeting and to cast your vote for the day’s best speakers.  You’ll experience how we develop spontaneous speaking, structured speeches and evaluations. You will begin to change your life!

 

The Mission of Every Toastmasters Club The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters  self-confidence and personal growth.

The United Baptist Church of Annandale, 7100 Columbia Pike, Annandale, Virginia 22003-3106 is across the street from Burger King at the intersection of Columbia Pike and John Marr Drive, a few blocks northeast of the intersection Rt. 236 (Little River Turnpike) and Columbia Pike.

Parking is in the back of the building on the side street between the church and Burger King.
